About this Course

This 3-4 hrs course on awareness of cyber security onboard ship and while in port and encourages good cyber ‘hygiene’. It explores cyber security risk and introduces candidates to the cyber risk management plan and has been developed in accordance with:

  • MSC-FAL.1/Circ.3 Guidelines on maritime cyber risk management
  • The ISM Code (MSC.428 (98) Maritime Cyber Risk Management in Safety Management Systems)
  • ISO/IEC 27001: 2013 – Information Security Management
