The fully certified Solent Marine Consultants group auditor will carry out the audit on behalf of the company and produce a detailed written report in a narrative format listing any relevant points including details of any ‘Findings’. The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) require Shipping Companies to have procedures for conducting both internal and external audits to ensure the ship is doing what is documented in the Ship Security Plan.
